Tyne Rivers Trust
Tyne Rivers Trust has a unique role as guardian of the River Tyne Catchment, overseeing the continuing conservation and regeneration of the river from the impacts of its industrial past. River Catchment Services is the Consultancy and Contracting arm of Tyne Rivers Trust and all profits that the company makes are donated to the Trust.
River Catchment Services offers a specialist consultancy service. We assess and recommend conservation and management actions for river channels, river banks, in-river structures and on matters that affect the wider catchment such as natural flood management, diffuse pollution from mine workings and agriculture and woodland planning.
The company works all over the UK as a specialist contractor and has a wealth of expertise in the design and building of a range of fish passes, fish easements, natural flood management, river restoration, diffuse pollution measures and forest planting.
