University of Wolverhampton
University of Wolverhampton provide a CITB accredited drone training course.
Drones are becoming increasingly more important in flood prevention to detect quickly the hazardous areas, performing flood prevention actions with drones allowing a cheaper and more efficiently organized and monitored clean-up operation in affected areas.
The University of Wolverhampton (UOW) are delighted to offer Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved RUSTA courses, leading to Permission for Commercial Operation (PfCO). The course is designed to teach you the skills required to confidently fly within the safety standards and legal requirements set out by the CAA. UOW and RUSTA have joined forces to create a new drone training course - one of the first of its kind to be accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Academics from the School of Architecture and Built Environment have designed this drone training course, which will be specific to the construction sector around the blending of drone technology and traditional ground scanning methods.
