Flood Expo 2017 Update

Over the first few months of 2017, the Flood Expo experienced one of its busiest ever periods of activity, with record numbers of flood suppliers and other organisations staking their claim to some of the remaining exhibition stands on the floor plan.

March and April continued with the same excitement, with some of the industry’s leading companies adding their names to the list of progressive organisations choosing to exhibit at the Flood Expo 2017. Among them include well-known names such as Atlas Copco, Interflow, Borger, and MTS Cleansing.

Elsewhere in the show, BSI have secured the sponsorship of one of the most sought-after theatres in the show. And we can also confirm that Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Water Systems, Dr Albert S. Chen; and acclaimed author and fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Michael Thorogood, have recently been confirmed as guest speakers for this year’s event.

Unsurprisingly all this activity has filtered down to those flood professionals looking to secure the deals that will give them dominance in their market and large organisations needing to protect their land, properties, and infrastructure.

We’ve already witnessed a huge early surge of registrations at the start of the year, with many coming from as far afield as Japan and the US. In recent weeks we’ve seen an influx of high profile decision makers from large organisations registering for tickets including those from major international airports, councils, rail networks, the Environmental Agency, large construction companies, land and property owners, and more.

What’s more, after the huge success of the Flood Expo Awards at the last event, the Flood Expo Innovation Awards 2017 are now open for entries. If you would like to be considered for this year’s awards, make sure you contact me before Wednesday next week.
