Alastair joined The Centre of Flood Risk and Resilience in March 2018 to design and deliver e-learning short courses. He has worked at Brunel University since 2011 as a Learning Technology Advisor. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Technology Management and is currently studying towards an MSc in Digital Education at The University of Edinburgh.

Ant has been working with Brunel University and partners on professional development for flood risk over the last 2 years, including helping to design the Environment Agency sponsored Flood and Coastal Engineering Degree Programme. He works on a range of projects injecting innovation into environment and sustainability research and impact challenges for business and university clients.
A Flood Risk and Resilience Skills Roadmap and e-learning solutions
Brunel University London, Environment Agency, HR Wallingford, Ice blue, Jacobs and CIWEM have established the Centre for Flood Risk and Resilience to deliver a pipeline of skilled professionals. The Skills Roadmap and the online short courses will help build a flood resilient society. ‘An Introduction to Flood Risk and Resilience’ is free to take by anyone, anywhere. This talk will explore the challenges and opportunities for the Roadmap and e-learning.
