Charlie McGee


On leaving the RAF/MOD after 22 years as an Aeronautical Engineer Charlie became an MOD Specialist Instructional Officer, going on to lead the group, becoming Head of Profession for all three service Specialist Instructional Officer Group (1700 staff). This role required his responsibility for the further development of the coveted defence systems approach to training (DSAT).

He has taught numerous RPC(S) courses, throughout the UK and conducted flight test evaluations. He maintains a keen interest in all matters aviation, whilst maintaining his Private Pilot (Aeroplane) Licence (JAR / EASA / IMC), carrying out the function as Director for a Royal Air Force Cosford Powered Flying Club.
