David studied Development Economics in the UK and Singapore before starting a consulting career working with some of the world’s largest engineering, infrastructure and building firms. David was involved in process re-engineering, outsourcing and major procurement initiatives for highly complex clients ranging from British Nuclear Fuels to Hutchinson Whompoa. In 2004 David started his own company providing advisory services for major construction projects in emerging markets. After selling his business in 2015, David worked with a range of start-ups in the engineering space before joining Floodcheck as Commercial Director. Throughout his career, David has been a regular speaker at real estate conferences and has published a series of books on project investment in emerging markets. David is as passionate about saving water and reducing flood damage as the rest of the Floodcheck team.
