Graham Brogden


Graham has worked for Aviva since 2010, prior to that he was working for one the property service providers to Aviva and has therefore been involved with the business since 1999. Having spent most of that time in the property division of claims and providing technical support the surveying and claims teams Graham is now the Head of Technical Claims for Property and Specialist Risks, responsible for the major loss claims.
Graham has been actively involved in flood events over the years and was heavily involved in the floods in Cumbria and Yorkshire. He took over as chair of the Property Flood Resilience Action Group following the launch of the plan in 2016. Graham is also a member of the BERG (Business Emergency Resilience Group) Leadership team which is part of Business in the Community.

Flood Resilience Action Plan Update

The Property Flood Resilience group was formed in 2016 and the action plan was released in October 16. During my session I will give an overview of the work of the PFR group and an update on the progress made against the actions. I will also being talking about the Code of Practice which has been developed as an output from the group and how that has been received.
