Empowering and mobilising volunteers to champion community resilience to flooding
The session will provide an introduction to the Communities Prepared programme, outlining our support to communities to improve their resilience to and recovery from flooding. We will share an overview of our work with local partners, with whom we provide training and support to volunteer flood groups, assisting them in becoming a sustainable resource to communities at risk. The session will include a case-study of our community development activities in Bedfordshire.
