Imra Hodzic

Research Associate Fellow, Operational Satellite Application Programme of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR-UNOSAT)

Imra is a Civil and Water Engineer with 5 years of international combined experience in water engineering and disaster risk reduction with a focus on flood risk management. She is a Research Associate Fellow at the Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Services unit of the Operational Satellite Applications Programme (UNOSAT) of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) since 2018.  

She holds a Bachler degree in Civil Engineering (BSc, 2010) as well as a Master’s degree in civil engineering with major in Hydrotechnics from the University of Sarajevo, BiH (MEng, 2012) and a double Master degree in Water Science and Engineering with a specialization in Flood Risk Management from TU Dresden, Germany and IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, The Netherlands (MSc, 2016).
